Masterson’s Tavern , situated in the center of Moonee Ponds , promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my recent visit at this establishment became a nightmarish ordeal . From the moment I crossed the threshold, it was clear that hygiene was not a priority at this venue. The ground was covered in grime , and a overpowering stench of stale beer and filthy restrooms suffused the entire venue . Emitting a scent of a mixture of ammonia , old age and a sickly smell. For a business that serves drinks , these issues are absolutely intolerable and raise serious concerns about the quality of the food and drinks .
